Co-founder and head of operations of TWC News (now Spectrum News), which began as NY1 and grew to include 15 regional news stations around the country as well as NY1 Noticias, the first Spanish language all-news channel in New York City.

Offered innovative hyperlocal coverage through sub-feeds to Queens and Staten Island.

• NY1’s industry leading technological innovations include becoming the first fully digital (tapeless) 24-hour news channel, the first NYC station to use video journalism for newsgathering, reducing costs of field camera staff, and introducing industry groundbreaking workflow using automation to reduce technical staff by 50%.

• Saved $6 million in operating expenses by creating centralized production hubs to service 15 24-hour news channels in California, New York State, North Carolina, and Texas, sharing content seamlessly across the entire organization.
